Connecting Your Campaign Website to an existing Squarespace Plan

Now that you’ve been added as a co-administrator to your Squarespace website, follow these steps to connect your site to a premium plan, link your existing domain, and make the website live:

Step 1: Connect to Your Squarespace Premium Plan

To unlock all the features for your site, you’ll need to connect it to your premium plan. Here’s how:

  1. Log in to Squarespace.

  2. From the dashboard, go to the Billing & Account section.

  3. Select your active Premium Plan.

  4. Assign this plan to the website you're working on.

This will activate all the necessary features for your site.

Step 2: Connect Your Existing Domain

Next, you'll need to link your existing domain to your Squarespace site:

  1. In the Home Menu, navigate to Settings.

  2. Select Domains.

  3. Click on Use a Domain I Own.

  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your existing domain.

Once connected, your domain will point to your new Squarespace website.

Step 3: Make Your Website Live

To make your website publicly accessible, follow these steps:

  1. In the Home Menu, go to Settings.

  2. Select Site Availability.

  3. Change the setting from Private to Public.

  4. Click Save.

Your website is now live and accessible to the public!
