Connecting Your Campaign Website to an existing Squarespace Plan
Now that you’ve been added as a co-administrator to your Squarespace website, follow these steps to connect your site to a premium plan, link your existing domain, and make the website live:
Step 1: Connect to Your Squarespace Premium Plan
To unlock all the features for your site, you’ll need to connect it to your premium plan. Here’s how:
Log in to Squarespace.
From the dashboard, go to the Billing & Account section.
Select your active Premium Plan.
Assign this plan to the website you're working on.
This will activate all the necessary features for your site.
Step 2: Connect Your Existing Domain
Next, you'll need to link your existing domain to your Squarespace site:
In the Home Menu, navigate to Settings.
Select Domains.
Click on Use a Domain I Own.
Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your existing domain.
Once connected, your domain will point to your new Squarespace website.
Step 3: Make Your Website Live
To make your website publicly accessible, follow these steps:
In the Home Menu, go to Settings.
Select Site Availability.
Change the setting from Private to Public.
Click Save.
Your website is now live and accessible to the public!
